Environmental engineers, currently enjoying job growth much faster than the national average, use the principles of biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics to manage ecosystems, reclaimed polluted lands, and protect our soil, air, and water resources.

News and Announcements 


4/19/2012: The deadline for applications to the Environmental Engineering Design Academy has been extended to Friday, May 11, 2012. All applications must be postmarked by midnight on the 11th. Contact the Saint Francis University Science Outreach Center with any questions at scienceoutreach@francis.edu or by calling 814-472-3878.

4/19/2012: Engineering senior, Luke Mignogna is accepted into the Ph.D. program in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering Swanson School of Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh. 


4/14/2012: Engineering senior, Dane-Marie Greaves is awarded the Engineering Senior Award at the 4th Annual School of Science Award Ceremony.

4/14/2012: Engineering major Abenezer Alemu received a summer research award funded through the National Science Foundation at the 4th Annual School of Sciences Award Ceremony.


4/14/2012:
Engineering majors, Becky Peer, Andrea Felski, Chem major, Bemnet Kebede, and Bio major, Thomas McWilliams received summer research awards funded by The Foundation for PA Watersheds at the 4th Annual School of Sciences Award Ceremony.
