Police Chief:
Sergeants:
Robert Zaman has been with the Department since June of 1988. Robert was promoted to Program Coordinator in 1992 and later became Sergeant in April of 2005. Sergeant Zaman received an Associate Degree in Criminology from Mt. Aloysius College in 1983 and in 1984 received his certification under the Municipal Police Officers Training Act from the Greater Johnstown Career and Technology Center.
Debra Poirier has been with the Department since August of 2002. In 2003 Debra became the sexual assault advocate for the Police Department and was promoted to Sergeant in April, 2005. Currently Sergeant Poirier is working on a double major in both Business Administration and Computer Systems Management. Debra received her certification under the Municipal Police Officers Training Act in 2004 from the Greater Johnstown Career and Technology Center. Sergeant Poirier started a SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) chapter at SFU in 2005 and acts as the groups advisor.
Corporal:
Christopher Lytle has been with the Department since November of 2002. Corporal Lytle is in charge of the Police Departments Inventory Control along with Crime Safety on campus. Recently in February, 2006, Lytle was promoted to Corporal. Chris received his certification under the Municipal Police Officers Training Act from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Officers:
Michael Novak started with the Department in February, 2003. Officer Novak's responsibilities with University Police include follow up investigations and radio testing. Graduating in 1999, Officer Novak received his certification under the Municipal Police Officers Training Act from the Greater Johnstown Career and Technology Center.
Arthur Eckenrode started as a part time Officer in November, 2005. Graduating from the Greater Johnstown Career and Technology Center in 2006, Officer Eckenrode is certified under the Municipal Police Officers Training Act.
Dave Moses has been with the Department part-time since 1996. Officer Moses is currently employed as a Police Officer by the Loretto Borough Police Department.
