Here's what some Saint Francis University Graduate Education graduates and certification students had to say about the programs:
"The opportunity to complete graduate/certification programs at Saint Francis University was invaluable to me both professionally and personally. Engaging in inspiring courses, networking with progressive educators from local school districts, and practical educational experiences enabled me to gain knowledge in the field that could be immediately applied at the district-level to help students, parents, and those professionals who strive to help them. It was a privilege to work closely with university instructors who emphasized the importance of being an active and informed leader. I greatly appreciate their continued mentorship and hope to return the favor to university students and young professionals in the future."

"My experience with Saint Francis has been nothing but positive. Because of the class schedule and variety of locations, I completed my Master of Education and Principal Certification while teaching full-time. The professors have been knowledgeable and understanding of scheduling conflicts, such as Open House or Parent/Teacher conferences. I am currently enrolled in the Reading Specialist Certification program. The Reading Clinic at Saint Francis provides additional support to area students and allows undergraduate students to work with students in a small group or individual setting. The practicum requirements for both certificates are valuable in numerous ways, as I plan objectives that interest me and will benefit my school. I would recommend Saint Francis to any teacher wishing to further his/her degree."

"When Saint Francis announced the opening of a local cohort I was thrilled. This meant I could not only work and take classes, but that I wouldn't have to travel to the university during the week. The convenience of taking classes in same the location allowed me to get home quickly to my family as well as complete my M.Ed in a short amount of time. I would highly recommend participating in an SFU cohort in your area." -- Julie Rice

The challenging coursework, in combination with the structure of the practicum, provided me with a solid foundation on which to pursue an administrative position. I credit the Education Department at Saint Francis University for providing me with the skills and confidence I needed to succeed through the interview process and in my current position as an elementary principal."
