Services

In addition to supplying students with textbooks, we also offer a wide range of other items including school supplies, backpacks, computer software, trade books including the New York Times Bestsellers, personal supplies, gifts, greeting cards and stationary, posters, clothing, souvenirs and more. The Bookstore offers to its customers services including:

  • Special orders of currently in-print titles

  • Class rings

  • Gift Cards

  • Balloons

  • Special orders of software at educational prices

  • Textbook buyback at the end of the FALL and SPRING semesters

  • Checks are accepted with Photo ID or valid drivers license.
  • Must be made payable to Saint Francis University
  • Third party checks are not accepted.

 

Special Orders

The Bookstore will gladly special order any text or trade book available. Special orders can be processed for students, faculty, staff and the general public. Students and employees of Saint Francis University are eligible to order software programs with educational discount pricing. A $5.00 non-refundable deposit is required at the time any special order is placed.

 

Merchandise Returns

Merchandise returns will be accepted under the following conditions:

  • All returns MUST be accompanied by the CASH REGISTER RECEIPT 
     

  • Refunds are permitted within 7 business days from date of purchase.
     

  • Exchanges are permitted up to 30 days from purchase date.
     

  • Merchandise MUST be in unused condition, unmarked, and suitable for resale with original tags intact.
     

  • Hats are NOT returnable.
     

  • No garment which seems to have been worn or laundered may be returned.
     

  • ALL SALES FINAL ON CLEARANCE ITEMS.

 

Textbook Returns 

FALL 2008 SEMESTER  

  • Textbook returns will be accepted through SEPTEMBER 2, 2008.
  • Mid-semester Module Course textbooks returns will be permitted during the first week following the course's start date.
  • NEW books returned in new condition will receive 100% of the original receipt price.  New books returned in used condition will receive the used book price.  The Bookstore Staff is the sole judge in determining whether a returned book is in new or used condition.
     
  • A defective book will be exchanged for another copy.
     
  • Coursepacks and opened shrink wrapped packages labeled with a “Non-returnable If Opened” warning are NON-RETURNABLE.
     
  • Refunds will be granted for books associated with courses canceled by the University.
