Red Flash to Take on Princeton in EIVA Quarterfinals

LORETTO, Pa. (April 23, 2009) – The Saint Francis men’s volleyball team will take on the Tigers of Princeton University in the Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association Tournament Quarterfinals, as announced by the league on Thursday.  The Red Flash will host the Tigers on Saturday in a 7 p.m. match up at DeGol Arena.

Princeton, who is 4-8 in the EIVA and 11-11 overall, defeated Rutgers-Newark by a score of 3-0 on Wednesday to advance to the second round of the tournament.  

Saint Francis, who is 7-5 in EIVA and 14-14 overall, defeated Princeton 3-2 on April 9 in New Jersey.  Scores were 22-30, 30-26, 30-26, 22-30, and 15-13.  

The Flash also took on the Tigers on February 7 at DeGol Arena, falling by a score of 3-2.  Scores for that match were 26-30, 28-30, 38-36, 3-25, and 15-13.

Tickets for the game are $5 for adults and $2 for children.
